Model Ngozi – Nigerian
“I’ve been with Wari LACE for only under 5 months and my modelling career has heightened immensely, I’m so grateful to be apart of this agency because of the hard work and dedication that is executed. Wari has treated me with so much respect and love so I always feel good and safe. Very thankful!”
“Our daughter Ngozi signed up with Wari LACE modelling agency in the Summer of 2018. She has since seen her confidence as a young lady and career as a model soar to great heights in such a short time. She has also made some amazing friends during her time with Wari LACE. As parents, we appreciate Wari's professionalism, how she really cares about the well being of our daughter! I would highly recommend Wari LACE Modelling Agency if you are looking for an agency that will represent your child with integrity & class!” - Chichi Anene
Model Garcia Blessing – Congolese
“I was 18 and I hated the fact that I was curvy in a world where the skinny girls got everything. Modelling has always been something I wanted to pursue but I never thought I’d be accepted. Until one day modelling came looking for me. Wari LACE, Founder of London Africa Cultural Event saw something in me that I was yet to see in myself. She asked me to model in her first modelling show, “I thought she was joking”.
Wari who also modelled in the past, ensured me she would look after me and wouldn’t permit me any jobs I was uncomfortable with. Wari taught me how to catwalk, pose and be fierce on wherever I go “because you don’t know who is watching you”. 3 years later I have done work for Aunt Jackie’s hair products, Afro Hair and Beauty Live 2015 and LACE. Now 21 years of age, I understand that my curves are not my flaws but something among many things that make me beautiful. “
Model Estelle Digridi - French
“Wari has always been professional in the way that she keeps models informed with release forms and terms and conditions about any job. Her natural mother instinct makes her go the extra mile by making sure that models arrived at destination of any casting or shoots/shows and pushes them to be seen and discovered. She has got great communication skills and makes models aware of what the situation is.
Wari has booked me for high end fashion shoots and shows. I know that what I’m getting out of being with Wari LACE will get me more jobs and people with take me seriously as a full time professional model.”
Model Nicole Brown - Mixed Jamican
"Through Wari LACE I have been given the opportunity to model at London Africa Cultural Event catwalk shows, catwalk at Women at the Crossroads event as well as Afro Hair and Black Live 2015. Hair presentation for Aunt Jackie’s and Design Essentials hair products. Wari has been a pleasure to work with. She is friendly, fun but extremely professional which I love as it makes things run more smoothly meaning less stress and more enjoyment."

“As the Face of LACE 2015 I have enjoyed working with many talented individuals and companies. And I look forward to seeing what else is to come for me. As a beginner into modelling, Wari has been there to guide and support me throughout all of this.
I highly recommend entering the Face of LACE competition. For anyone who is unsure about modelling this experience has taught me that you don’t know what you can achieve if you do not try. “
Model Jennifer Ozegin – Nigerian
"Year after year I've wanted to gain some experience in the modelling world however I was hesitant. A friend introduced me to London Africa Cultural Event (LACE) and I haven't looked back since. Wari LACE has helped me to believe in myself as a model and most importantly helped me to realise that I have the potential to go on and become great. Being on the catwalk for the first time can almost be daunting however I had Wari by my side who encouraging me and talking to me like I was her own daughter. Even though I was a new model I instantly felt comfortable as Wari made me feel like I was part of the growing model family, from talking to me about the starting of the company to making sure I've had something to eat.
Going to university three times a week, Wari made sure her approach in getting me jobs wouldn't clash with my lectures and would call me to let me know in advance when a show was coming up. For example just before London Cultural Event I was told where and when my hair appointment was and what I had to bring to the show in advance, the shows I have done so far have been well organised. After LACE event I have gone on to do Hype Coiffure 20 years anniversary under Wari LACE. Becoming a Wari LACE model this year has made me feel a lot more confident in myself, it’s been a great way to make new friends and also network with other people."

"The first time I got involved with LACE was about three years ago for the annual show, the team was amazing throughout and I had fun doing the show. As a model at shows, photoshoots or fashion events you meet people who make unending promises of keeping in touch with job opportunities and never keep to them but things were different with Wari, at some point on the day of the LACE show she kept complimenting my cheekbones and my height and would pull my cheeks and say "my dear there is so much we can do and we would talk after the show" and I just smiled and thought it would be the same then few weeks after the show she would call to go for auditions or checking my availability for a show or hair exhibition, she attends the show or sends a message after to make sure I was treated properly and I really appreciated her doing that. The environment is so peaceful, going from my fellow models to those working behind the scenes have been really great. This year I was named one of the two Faces of LACE 2016 and it’s been great. I have been introduced to genuinely nice people with the best intentions and always make you sure you are well treated. I have had a great time working with the team and I am looking forward to the future."
Model Naomi – Jamaican and Antiguan
"The last few months have flown by and looking back I am really proud of work that I have done with LACE. I have done a few shoots and shows, most recently I modelled at the Black Beauty Sensationnel Hair Awards 2016. This was my first time at a hair awards show and it was very exciting. The atmosphere is always positive, and even if slightly intense at times, everyone always executes which makes all the effort worth it. To me, all work that I do is a learning experience; whether it comes in the form of practicing choreography for a walk, heeding advice from Wari (Mother Hen) or just observing the talented models that I get to be around. In the New Year, I look forward to upcoming opportunities to build on what I have achieved as the Face of LACE and continue to enjoy my role."
Model Eskiti Eskedar - Habesha
"Entering Face of LACE 2014 competition and winning the prize was the best experience I have had. I have met so many talented professional people across London from winning this title. This has enable me to be in the present of new connection as designers, photographers, hair stylist and make-up artist and of course other organiser like Wari. Wari is there for me at all time. Not just as an organizer but also a mother who support me at all time."
Model Charli Flecther – Caribbean
“It has been an absolute pleasure working with Wari Lace. She displays such a professional and yet compassionate attitude towards us models. Whenever I am represented by Wari Lace, I feel immensely comfortable, as I know that I am in good hands. Not only does she attend the jobs booked to over see things, but she also attends castings. I recommend the services of Wari Lace to all models that are serious about their craft.
I feel so elated that Wari Lace assisted me in getting booked for the Tata Naka presentation show. It is my first on schedule show that I have done for London Fashion Week. The show went extremely well and I have received so much exposure all over social media and in publications such as BFC, Vogue, Noctis and Hello! India just to name a few.”
